Our client is looking for a highly driven, results-oriented Sales Manager to assist in the expansion of their services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service to the existing client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of the intermodal industry.

Responsibilities:
- Continuously build and expand your book of business by adding new leads.
- Maintain relationships with existing Motor Carriers and BCO’s.
- Utilizing the CRM, identify target and prospect new business and create a new business sales pipeline.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and effectively communicate the Company’s value proposition, including the adaptability of the Company’s systems to their needs.
- Attend community events, work personal networks, and participate in activities that drive new business sales goal.
- Follow-up with new clients and operations to ensure a seamless implementation when onboarding new clients.
- Responsible for creating and delivering high quality presentations to the client.
Experience:
- Industry-relevant experience (Transportation/Intermodal/Logistics) required, emphasis on port/regional intermodal trucking
- Strong Customer Service and relationship building skills
- Ability to drive the full sales cycle process from identifying new business opportunities and creating project and execution plans
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience developing and structuring agreements
- Proven ability to position the Company’s products against competitive products being utilized
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading a new sales initiative
- Must possess effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to synthesize customers’ needs and identify solutions utilizing the Company’s products
- Ability to understand industry-specific terms and trends
- Excel in a fast-paced sales environment where responsibility for individual performance and a team approach are valued
- Strong technology background and familiarization with CRM platforms
- Ability to Travel
