Our client is seeking to add an experienced and results-driven sales professional to their team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with over 7 years of experience in transportation/Logistics sales, particularly within a 3PL environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling both transactional and dedicated transportation services across multiple verticals. This position will be responsible for identifying and securing new business, managing customer relationships, and working collaboratively with various internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new customers whose transportation needs align with our client’s services, including Freight Brokerage, Yard Management, and Drayage.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and needs assessment for potential and existing customers to recommend the best service solutions. Utilize data insights and sales enablement tools to conduct lead generation activities for new business, including cold calling, networking, and other prospecting methods in order to convert new business
- Complete administration requirements for managing accounts, and identify areas for improvement within the sales process and customer service to enhance both internal and external support and processes.
- Work closely with the Pricing, Operations, Sales, Account Management, and Leadership to secure and maintain customer relationships.
- Actively review and manage customer scorecards to track performance and satisfaction.
- Provide continuous, seamless, and timely communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in logistics/transportation sales, preferably within a 3PL or related logistics environment.
- Demonstration of a strong understanding of the logistics industry, specifically transportation services such as dedicated freight, brokerage, and drayage.
- Moderate to Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills. Experience and ability to use TMS/CRM.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Proven ability to develop new business relationships and close sales in a competitive market.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and systems to drive decisions and sales strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
