Director of Brokerage Sales
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Brokerage Sales to lead their sales team in driving revenue growth, expanding their customer base, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team of experienced sales executives selling our client’s portfolio of logistics solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and penetrate new markets.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and customer support to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and set goals for team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry trends.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to optimize sales performance.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to stakeholders, including sales performance, customer acquisition, and retention metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address sales performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and team performance.
  • 7+ years of Logistics Sales experience.
  • Proven success selling logistics solutions, hunting, and closing new logo business.
  • Strong sales, leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication skills.
  • Solid industry knowledge including customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Experience with sales software, CRM systems, MS Office software, and performance management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
