As the Food Import Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our client’s logistics operations, including coordinating with suppliers, arranging
transportation and shipping, managing inventory, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. You will work closely with our client’s sales and purchasing teams to ensure that their supply chain is optimized and that we are able to meet the needs of their customers.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Arrange transportation and shipping of goods.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize financial loss.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including customs and FDA regulations.
- Communicate with sales and purchasing teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues or problems that arise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, transportation providers, and other partners.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the food industry
- Knowledge of customs and FDA regulations for importing frozen food products into the United States
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working with international suppliers and transportation providers.
