Inbound & Inventory E-commerce Supervisor
As the Inbound & Inventory Warehouse Supervisor, your leadership is critical to the seamless functioning of our client’s warehouse operations. Proper receiving is crucial to the warehouse process. Reporting directly to the Director, Fulfillment Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the unloading, receiving, inbound scheduling, dock management, and outbound loading processes, product put away, picking (each, case, and pallet), inventory management, replenishment, consolidation, problem-solving, team leadership, & management of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) or heavy equipment. This role requires a keen focus on ensuring compliance with all key responsibilities listed below.

Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and keeping a log of incoming containers via Monday Inbound Log. Responsible for the upkeep of Monday inbound log, no dual entries, proper updating once containers arrive. Success in this area looks like a clean and well-kept Monday inbound board with proper updates in all relevant columns, dock appointments provided to all incoming containers or trailers for receiving.
  • Maintenance and confirmation of all OB pallet loads as provided by the customer service team. Customer service will perform all routing requests as required by client and you will be responsible for confirming pickup times so as to maintain 30 minutes or less outbound loading for LTL or FTL containers outbound. Success in this role is proper communication with the CSR team to confirm scheduling of OB containers, using the Monday Outbound Schedule Board and providing proper updates on Monday like arrival time, departure time, photos of outbound loads and scans of BOLs uploaded to Monday.
  • Maintenance and adherence to safety and process as it pertains to operations involving the 14 dock doors. This includes compliance with the above-mentioned scheduling for inbound and outbound loads in addition to proper and timely unloading and loading of containers and trailers. Further, a well-maintained dock is clean and clear of any trash, broken pallets, products are well organized and maintained for any type of client or vendor in-person event. Success in this component includes no trash on the floor of the dock area, pallets well maintained, containers unloaded in 4 hours, containers loaded in 30 minutes for pallet outbound loads with product well organized in the area.
  • Removal of floor-loaded products within container, palletized, received and provided to the Warehouse Supervisor within 4 business hours of container arrival. Success in this role relies on training programs so that transient workforce or lumpers can onboard, unload and complete containers the same day. Proper documentation for receiving should be prepared prior to container arrival so that the team may immediately begin working on inbound container. Success is derived based on the timely completion of containers in 4 hours or less.
  • Removal of palletized products on inbound container, LTL or FTL truck load within 30 minutes of load arrival and dock onto door. Success is derived on the ability to complete pallet unloads in 30 minutes or less.
  • Receiving - specifically, inbounding products into the facility, sorting and or binning if necessary, entering all necessary information into Extensiv WMS, applying pricing, closing order, and putting away into bin (Ecom) area if required. This applies to parcels, pallet, floor load and all other types of inbounds. Prioritization is required so that all receiving SLA 24-48 hours dock to stock is met by all clients. Each process has more stringent expectations to allow for multiple receipts to be scheduled for the same day and still meet SLA expectations (for example, container unload is 4 hours, so 2 containers can be scheduled per day per container team and 4 containers can be scheduled for the same day per container unload team without risking SLA misses before needing to consider bringing in an additional container unload team). Success in this component is measured by 99.98% adherence to receiving SLA and raising the bar of expectations through everyone receiving process such as maintaining compliance within 4 hours per container unload.
  • O, S & D Reporting - specifically providing reports on O - overages, S - shortages and D - damages per inbound receipt in comparison to the packing list provided. This is a report that is required per client and needs to be provided on the inbound Monday board for CSR visibility and for CSRs to provide to the client. Success in this component includes providing the inbound O, S& D for all inbound receipts even if the receipt matches the packing list.
  • Transloading & Cross Docking - specifically the unloading, sorting, receiving, preparation of outbound, and loading of outbound transload or cross dock. Unloading requirements follow the same 4-hour timeframe. Sorting includes but is not limited to sorting between what parts of the receipt are transload and which are going into stock as well as sorting the specific items into the potentially multiple different pickups for the transload. Receiving is the same as above. Preparation of outbound includes any labeling, repackaging, pallet height/weight requirements, etc. Finally, outbound loading in compliance with client requests (floor load, pallet load, multiple splits, etc.) Success in this component includes adherence to any state’s vendor requirements or compliance guides, time frame for each component of the transloading process, and successful enter of information into WMS and Monday to update all parties on load status.
  • Inbound Labeling - specifically within the receiving process, affixing carton labels if not present and/or labeling individual items that are picked as singles. Success includes ensuring charges are entered for this process and each item is labeled correctly.
  • LPN Pallet Labeling - specifically labeling each pallet for put away purposes, free of any receiving errors. Success in this component includes 100% of pallets including a pallet label for put away purposes and 99.98% inventory accuracy as it applies to items received to each specific pallet.
  • Parcel Put Away - specifically applies to inbound receipts via UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc. that are required to be binned or placed into first-level pick pallets.
  • Offloading non-inventory supplies and providing them with the Outbound Supervisor to sort and distribute. After Outbound Supervisor handles non-inventory supplies, responsible for put away into non-inventory storage area
  • Pallet Outbound Loading - specifically checking in trucks for outbound loading. Assigning doors and loading outbound trailers with the correct products. Take photos of outbound loads and update Monday outbound board with photos and scanned copy of BOL.
  • Ensuring that FedEx and UPS parcel trailers are loaded each day with orders from the day. Responsible for communicating with Outbound Supervisor to ensure that the packages are loaded in a timely manner
  • Confirming dock availability with CSRs to ensure that all loads are loaded within 30 minutes of arrival time for outbound loads. Keep and maintain active schedule for pickups on Monday
  • Responsible for signing for outbound loads shipped, scanning copy and uploading to Monday on the outbound board and turning in physically signed BOL to proper CSR.
  • Responsible for updating Monday for inbound, outbound and project boards. Ensure proper files are uploaded to boards, including BOLs, photos, etc.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the bulk floor storage area. This includes ensuring that pallets are organized appropriately, pallets are entered into the corresponding locations in the system, pallets are labeled with the appropriate storage location, pallets are stacked safely, and emergency exits are left unblocked.
  • Responsible for updating the storage document every month on the last working day of the month. This includes correctly filling out the number of bins, pallets, oversized pallets and bulk floor location pallets per client that is not input into the system for automated billing (normally, and client that is in a bulk floor location).
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or leadership.

Experience:
  • Previous supervisor experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
