Our client is an asset-based transportation company with a fleet of 400 trucks and 280 drivers, specializing in HazMat, reefer, and dry van freight for OTR and domestic moves. Their brokerage division, handles TL, rail, ocean, and LTL freight, is HazMat certified, and has Canadian authority, but does not operate cross-border into Mexico.Inside Logistics Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join their dynamic logistics brokerage team. In this role, you will be responsible
for building relationships with shippers, negotiating freight rates, and coordinating transportation solutions. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to drive revenue growth. Current book of business that is transferable is a must. No current non-solicit or non-compete that will hold you back from selling.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, emails, and other sales tactics.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to understand their logistics needs.
- Negotiation & Pricing: Negotiate freight rates with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales quotas by closing new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Coordination & Execution: Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth booking, tracking, and delivery of shipments.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in CRM software.
Experience:
- High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of inside sales, logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation industry experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and build relationships.
- Ability to negotiate rates and close deals effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and logistics management systems.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed and a competitive mindset.
- Ability to handle objections and resolve customer challenges quickly and effectively.
