Jr. Logistics Coordinator
Our client is looking to add a Jr. Logistics Coordinator to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for answering phone calls, covering freight, making check calls, as well as other duties that are outlined below.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Communicating all load statuses with broker.
  • Retrieving outstanding load paperwork and invoices.
  • Posting available loads on freight load board websites and calling out on available trucks.
  • Learn the industry and DOT regulations and parameters for all freight requirements pertaining to the job.
  • Setting up new carriers not already onboarded with our client and retrieve proper documentation to make them active in the system.
  • This position will be expected to be logged in and at the office at 8:00am and are expected to remain online and logged in until 5:00pm unless broker gives permission otherwise.
  • This position must, at all times, represent the company’s founding values of moral ethics, constant pursuit of excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure timely resolution of logistics challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with carriers, shippers, and internal teams.
  • Experience coordinating shipments, tracking freight, and ensuring compliance with delivery schedules.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and industry standards preferred.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in logistics plans and customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
