Logistics Account Executive - C2G
As a Logistics Account Executive, you will operate by leveraging your industry
knowledge and network to manage and coordinate freight logistics. This role is perfect for experienced logistics professionals who thrive in a flexible, remote environment and have a proven track record in the freight brokerage or logistics industry.

Job Type: Full-time/Work from home

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers to ensure smooth and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate and monitor the entire shipment process, from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Track and report on shipment progress, ensuring all parties are informed of status updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry regulations, and emerging technologies in logistics.
Experience:
  • A transferrable book of business is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a freight agent or freight broker.
  • Strong understanding of freight brokerage, transportation management, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
  • A strong network of carrier and shipper contacts is highly desirable.
