Logistics Sales Executive – Produce Focus
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Sales Executive with a strong background in the produce industry, specifically within California and Arizona. This role is crucial in driving business growth by leveraging existing relationships and developing new opportunities within the produce sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales, with a deep understanding of transportation and logistics solutions for perishable goods.

Job Type: Full-time/Work from home

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on the produce industry in CA and AZ.
  • Identify and prioritize key produce accounts and prospects for business development efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, shippers, and distributors in the produce sector.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to maximize net revenue margin while delivering value to customers.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements affecting produce logistics.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry with a focus on produce.
  • Established network of contacts within the produce supply chain in California and Arizona.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of temperature-controlled freight, seasonal demand fluctuations, and compliance requirements for transporting produce.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to change.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite.
