Responsibilities:
- Will be split roughly 50/50 between individual selling and team management.
- Experience with onboarding, training, and monitoring new sales hires through their 15/30/60 Day review period.
- Monitor activity/results of the sales team through reporting and conduct weekly/monthly meetings and performance reviews.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B logistics sales with at least 2 years managing a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to easily have a conversation rather than "pitch a product".
- Experience with Sales CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. with expert-level task management capabilities.
- Must be able to bring enough of an existing book of business to meet 15/30/60 Day performance expectations, with the ability to constantly grow your book of business over time with all of our client’s tools at your disposal.
- Expert knowledge of the domestic supply chain allowing you to identify a prospect’s full transportation needs and craft an optimal solution.
- Proficiency in analyzing industry pricing tools and market trends to accurately quote both spot and contractual shipping lanes.
- Proficiency with lead generation tools such as ZoomInfo, D&B Hoovers, LinkedIn, Apollo, etc. to identify valid prospects and decision-makers.
This position offers a competitive base salary.
