Our client is seeking an experienced and team-oriented LTL Manager to oversee their Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) operations and help drive new business development. In this role, you will manage the LTL freight process, including handling claims, resolving rate disputes through their LTL provider, and ensuring smooth execution of shipments. While their customer service team handles building LTL loads, the LTL Manager will focus on optimizing processes and expanding our client’s LTL customer base. This position requires someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the value of working as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the LTL freight process to ensure efficient and timely execution.
- Resolve LTL freight claims by coordinating with our client’s LTL provider to achieve prompt resolution.
- Handle rate disputes by working with our client’s LTL provider to ensure accurate billing and resolution.
- Monitor LTL performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Act as the subject matter expert for all LTL-related questions and issues, supporting the team with guidance and expertise.
- Work closely with the customer service team to align on processes and provide seamless support.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for LTL services to expand our client’s customer base.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop tailored LTL solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and continued support for new LTL customers.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, with commission earned based on new LTL business secured.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in LTL operations, with strong industry knowledge.
- Proven expertise in handling LTL claims, resolving rate disputes, and working effectively with LTL providers.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to secure new business and meet sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while actively contributing to a team- based environment.
- A team-first mindset and willingness to collaborate across departments to drive success.
