Our client is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic professional to help grow their business. As the Sales Director - Drayage, you will take ownership of the sales process within the company, holding responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities and establishing lasting industry partnerships. This individual will design solutions for a remarkable customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Present oneself as a servant leader in and outside of the company.
- Leverage research and lead generation tools to facilitate prospecting efforts for securing new business that aligns with our client’s business model.
- Build and maintain a consistently robust pipeline, reporting to leadership weekly.
- Present customers with innovative supply chain solutions through a consultative sales approach.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, while understanding how to align client needs with strategic initiatives.
- Retain a strong understanding of industry trends and developments with a keen ability to identify and effectively communicate new market opportunities.
- Become a leader within all departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant field.
- 5 years of successful port drayage sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and an entrepreneurial mentality.
- Experienced with use of CRM’s, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- A self-motivator fully accountable for results with a proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business deals.
- Strong work ethic with an understanding of, and adherence to, our client's mission and core values in all business decisions and interactions.
- Travel approximately 25%.
