Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sr. Manager of Account Management to lead their Account Management team in driving revenue growth through retention and expansion within their existing customers, providing account management support to new customer acquisitions, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong account management background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team of account managers and operations reps who service customers through the execution of our client’s portfolio of logistics solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of account managers and operations representatives to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the customer sales, account management, and operations teams.
- Develop and implement account management strategies to drive retention, growth, and the enhancement of our client’s account management program.
- Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and customer support to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and set goals for team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry trends.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to optimize sales performance.
- Provide regular reports, forecasts, and analyses to stakeholders, including account performance, retention, and growth metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address performance gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align account management strategies with business objectives.
- 2+ years of management experience, with a proven track record of driving team performance, retention, and growth.
- 5+ Years of account management experience within logistics.
- Proven success managing the operational execution of logistics solutions and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, account management experience, emotional intelligence, and communication skills
- Solid industry knowledge including customer needs and competitive landscape
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account management strategies.
- Experience with logistics execution software, performance management tools, and MS Office software.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
