Strategic Account Manager (Petrochemical) 
To lead and execute complete and successful sales of Company products with the highest possible returns and on the most favorable terms through developing effective sales plans and adopting efficient customer service strategies with the aim to expand the Company’s market share and increase its revenues.

Job Type: Full-time/hybrid

Responsibilities:
  • Key account owner and primary sales/relationship focal point for Americas customers located mainly in Canada, USA, Mexico and Brazil.
  • Participate in developing and implementing the sales plan in order to promote products and ensure alignment of carried out sales activities to the plan.
  • Ensure the achievement of sales targets and plan for growth in order to ensure alignment with departmental plans and objectives.
  • Help drive continuity between global strategy and local implementation.
  • Maintain close relationships with agents, distributors and customers in order to ensure high levels of satisfaction and that all their needs and expectations are met.
  • Provide market and customer intelligence in order to study the market potential and identify prospective customers.
  • Negotiate and finalize profitable sales agreements with preferred customers / agents in order to obtain maximum long term value and secure reasonable commercial aspects to the advantage of the Company.
  • Monitor the implementation of the sales agreements (invoices, payments, shipping and delivery) and ensure that customers are serviced properly to meet their expectations and obtain the renewal of the signed sales agreements.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Sales team systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Assist with various other Commercial activities such as account demand forecasting, DSO/AR deliverables and pricing facilitation/coordination.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 12 years in-depth commercial experience in sales of petrochemicals and/or business-to-business sales of commodities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related business discipline.
  • Second language of Spanish (preferred) or Portuguese
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Demonstrates tactical and strategic market and account management.
  • Supply Chain and operational knowledge/understanding
