The VP of Brokerage Sales is a key executive role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading the strategic direction of our client’s sales operations within the logistics and transportation sector. Our client is seeking a high-performing sales leader with deep industry knowledge, a proven ability to scale business, and a book of business producing at least $50,000 in gross profit. This role demands a hands-on leader who can build, lead, and inspire a winning sales team while cultivating strong relationships with high-value clients and strategic partners.

Responsibilities:
- Build and execute aggressive sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and support long-term business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities in target markets and underpenetrated regions. Leverage industry insights to stay ahead of competitive trends and customer needs.
- Cultivate and grow relationships with key clients, prospects, and logistics stakeholders to ensure long-term account retention and satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team. Establish KPIs, track performance, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.
- Align with marketing, operations, finance, and executive leadership to ensure consistency across pricing, service delivery, and customer engagement strategies.
- Monitor sales metrics and performance dashboards. Use data to optimize the pipeline, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive smarter decisions.
- Represent the company at logistics conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Champion our client’s brand and identify new growth partnerships.
- Contribute to the development of annual sales forecasts, budgets, and growth plans to support strategic initiatives and performance goals.
- Specialize in growing Flatbed and Van freight opportunities, leveraging existing carrier relationships and identifying new capacity solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales leadership roles within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Prior experience selling and managing Flatbed and Van freight services, with a proven ability to scale account volume.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Must have a book of business generating at least $50,000 in gross profit.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, freight markets, and customer lifecycle management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales performance platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, events, and internal alignment.
This position offers a competitive base salary.
